Touchdown Academy is an exciting and educational board game designed for all ages. By blending the fast-paced strategy of football with foundational academic skills, Touchdown offers families a high-energy way to learn together. Each play yard on the field represents a grade level:

5 yards = Rookie
10 yards = Starter
15 yards = All Pro
20 yards = MVP

Players move down the field by answering curriculum-aligned challenge cards—each one worth 5, 10, 15, or 20 yards depending on the level of difficulty. But watch out! Penalty cards can slow you down or throw a curveball into your game plan. With 500 educational and action-packed cards, Touchdown supports key learning concepts across reading, math, science, social-emotional development, and more. The gameplay is as enriching as it is entertaining, making it perfect for classrooms, family nights, and learning on the go.

Football-Themed Progression System

Players run plays by drawing academic question cards — earning yards with every correct answer in math, literacy, science (space), social-emotional learning, geography, and history, all while driving toward the ultimate goal: scoring a touchdown. It’s high-energy, movement-ready, and turns football strategy into skill-building for the brain.

Strategic Penalty Card - Fitness System

Players unleash penalty cards to shake up the game and challenge their opponents, building critical thinking, focus under pressure, and real-time decision-making. High-energy fitness drills, balance challenges, and SEL penalties keep adrenaline high and engagement locked in.

A Visual Field of Progress

The game board doubles as a visual feedback system, letting children see their own growth as they move across the field and toward academic mastery.

Where Did This Project Come From?

Touchdown Academy™ was born out of a father’s deep desire to prepare his daughter for the world — not just academically, but creatively, intentionally, and with legacy in mind. As a former athlete and homeschooling parent, I wanted a system that could travel with us, grow with us, and bring education to life through motion, rhythm, and strategy.

I’ve been building learning systems for my daughter, Nova, since the day I delivered her with my own hands. She’s not old enough to play this game yet — but she’s already part of the system it represents. Her growth, her development, her future inspired every card and every concept. This is a game designed to meet her — and other children — as they grow into greatness.

Touchdown Academy™ began as Touchdown Tots, a prototype for younger learners. But after months of feedback, family playtesting, and program evaluation, the mission evolved — and so did the name. This isn’t just for toddlers. This is for families, classrooms, afterschool programs, and summer camps. This is for anyone ready to turn learning into movement, strategy, and full-on competition.

The characters on the game board are modeled after my high school teammates. The cheerleader is Nova — animated into the game she’s growing toward. Every detail was built with intention — from the scoring mechanics to the “yardage” earned by mastering math, literacy, science, and emotional intelligence. Touchdown™ is not a toy. It’s a vision. A system. A learning legacy. It’s what happens when a parent refuses to leave their child’s education to chance — and instead designs a whole new way to play.
